Field Barns are the first three spaces to be completed in a four-building complex which will eventually comprise 6 letting holiday spaces and a cookery school and delicatessen.

They are finished in a contemporary take on the traditional black Essex barn and designed to fit into a typical Essex country environment. An extension of the farm’s traditional yard.

Air source heat pumps provide underfloor heat and hot water and the galvanised roof material and rainwater goods are by Lindab. The final floor area of these single-storey buildings is 302 Square metres. The buildings are timber-framed and brick and timber clad with the wooden cladding expressed as vertical slats.

Field Barns were completed in the early Summer of 2018.
