Woodside is a development of an ancient farmyard with an entirely new purpose. The five farm buildings, made redundant when dairy farming ceased to be viable, are transformed to become highly desirable Holiday Lets.

Pocknell Studio achieved ‘Change of Use’ permission from Uttlesford District Council as well as all of the statutory requirements of Building Regulations. The farmyard is being maintained and will provide a backdrop to the development which makes cottages from hay lofts and dairies and large country dwellings from hay barns, cattle barns and milking parlours.

The close proximity to Hatfield Forest ancient woodland provides immediate access to country walks and the yard will also play host to small numbers of cattle and sheep providing a positive link to the country way of life.
